Uptown Style, Downtown Value - 2014 Scion xB wagon

Boxy, yes! Boring, NO! Featuring aggressive styling, exceptional utility and endless customization possibilities, the xB is a versatile wagon that demands to be noticed. The Scion xB was last upgraded for the 2011 model year.

Power for the xB is generated by a sophisticated 2.4L four-cylinder engine. Customers can choose between a five-speed manual gearbox or a four-speed automatic transmission with sequential shifting.

The xB features a four-wheel independent suspension with MacPherson struts and coil springs in front, torsion beams at the rear. The steering rack is mounted to a subframe for additional noise and vibration control. Toe-correcting geometry in the rear suspension helps tighten handling.

Inside the passenger cabin comfort and convenience to all of its occupants is the order of the day. Driver- and front-passenger seats include large bolsters for better comfort and stability. Front and rear seats feature a light gray fabric with a geometric pattern for the seating surfaces contrasted by black fabric covering the bolsters, bases and backs.

A combination center console with sliding armrest adds to driver comfort and utility. The instrument gauge-cluster design features a black background, along with a separate clock and outside temperature display, to provide better visibility to information. The steering wheel includes both telescopic and tilt functions.
