Sharing its platform with the redesigned Charger sedan, the SRT Hellcat features a supercharged 6.2L V8 prime mover that makes over 700 horsepower! This Hellcat engine is Dodge and SRT’s first application of V-8 supercharger technology, featuring a forged-steel crankshaft with induction-hardened bearing surfaces. And its unique, specially tuned crank damper has been tested to 13,000 rpm.

The supercharged HEMI V-8 also has premium-grade, heat-treated aluminum-alloy cylinder heads, which are optimized for superior thermal conductivity. And its die-cast aluminum rocker covers are HEMI Orange.
